“This process has been very rewarding. We all look forward to the day when Animal Outreach takes in its first four-legged client at 3000 Bayshore Road! We are so thankful for the time and talents of our steering committee and architect, James V. Livoti. His help has been invaluable and has enabled us to get so much closer to realizing the dream.” --- Ellen Shaw, President, Board of Directors |
Building Fund and Steering Committee
Animal Outreach is blessed with a very talented and dedicated group of volunteers, and that includes the Project Steering Committee. This group is charged with working along with the architect to determine the best way to approach the project given the funds that we have. Additionally, they work together with the Finance Committee to seek funding from outside sources to allow us to begin construction. This job is difficult and will be costly, as the building site is very raw and will need a lot of infrastructure before a building can be constructed. The plans for Phase I are very close to completion, and financing is the next challenge we face |
